April 2020 Fiber Construction Update
A lot has changed since our last update in February. We have all been impacted by COVID-19 and its effects on how we work and interact. Our services are considered to be essential business and our crews and contractors remain on the front lines continuing efforts with our fiber construction project. We are doing all we can to protect our team and all of you by following Virginia guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are making a lot of progress with Phase 2 of the project. Mainline construction on the first 100 miles is complete, and in-home installations for Millboro and remaining Bratton’s Run consumers begins May 6. Thayer is making great progress on mainline construction of the second 220 miles of Phase 2 and is about 15% complete, running ahead of schedule.

Data collection for eligible service addresses in the Town of Goshen is complete and we will be sending out additional information to those eligible consumers soon, including what to expect during construction.
